Frankenstein
A new, thought-provoking play based on Mary Shelley’s gothic tale about human nature, technology and longing for love, companionship and acceptance.
Reumert award-winning writer, Tanja Mastilo, transforms Shelley’s classic Frankenstein into a gripping, dystopian drama where flawless beauty is the standard and the Creature becomes one of the most reviled monsters: the older woman. How did she become so threatening? Can she reconcile with her creator and the world that rejects her?
After months of shame and denial Doctor Frankenstein is forced to face her biggest fear, the Creature she created, and find an answer to the question: who is the real monster?
