Since moving to Denmark in 1986 Barry has directed The Lisbon Traviata together with Michael Simpson and two popular productions for The Loyal Shakespeare Company: their award winning Romeo og Julie and Hamlet. In 2004 he wrote, directed and appeared in 'Swonderful based on the lives of the Gershwin brothers at Den Anden Opera.
At the start of 2008 Barry directed the Reumert award winning play Flammens Muse for Kaleidoskop 2. In 2009 he directed Casanova Undone for That Theatre and later that year directed Reumert nominated H3K - Hvad I Vil based on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, which starred Lars Mikkelsen.
In 2010 he directed Hancock's Last Half Hour and adapted and directed Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol in November starring Tom McEwan and Ian Burns.
In 2011 he directed Oleanna for That Theatre Company, Why Not Theatre Company's highly acclaimed production of Vita & Virginia at CaféTeatret, 'Allo 'Allo for the CTC as well as having written and directed both Jago for Teater O and Cinderella for CTC.
In 2012, amongst other projects, Barry will be directing Shakespeare Unplugged for That Theatre Company, Desdemona, a play about a handkerchief for Why Not Theatre Company and Old Times, a collaboration between Why Not Theatre Company and That Theatre Company.

After completing her training at Mountview Theatre School (London) in the 1990s, Angela worked extensively for the BBC and UK touring theatres, playing roles ranging from Vittoria in The White Devil, Nina in The Seagull and Cinderella in The Glass Slipper.
She moved to Denmark in 2000, where she appeared in two episodes of DR1's Emmy-award winning TV series Livvagterne and several films, including the Zentropa short film Vogn 347 released in 2011.
In 2010 she played Mrs Cratchit in a musical version of A Christmas Carol. In 2011 she played the role of Vita in Why Not Theatre Company's production of Vita & Virginia at CaféTeatret. Angela will be playing Bianca in Desdemona, a play about a handkerchief at Bådteatret in April 2012 and Kate in Old Times by Harold Pinter – a collaboration by Why Not Theatre Company and That Theatre Company – at Krudttønden in autumn 2012.

After a 20 year career in international Human Resources in London, Luxembourg and Brussels, Sue came to Denmark in 2001 with her Danish husband. She worked for two years at Danmarks Radio as a journalist and news reader on the daily News In English programme.
Sue co-founded Why Not Theatre Company (WNTC) in 2007 with Nathalie Johnston, who has since moved back to the UK. She is now Artistic Director of WNTC and also runs her own successful voiceover business, World of Words.
A self-taught actress, Sue has performed on a number of European stages including the Tower and Questors Theatres in London, the ECC in Brussels, That Theatre Company and CTC in Copenhagen and the ITM in Malmö.
Her roles have been many and varied, including Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Joy in Shadowlands, Helen in The Road to Mecca, Stevie in The Goat or Who is Sylvia, Ines in Life x 3 and, most recently, Virginia (Woolf) in Vita & Virginia by Dame Eileen Atkins at CaféTeatret in 2011. Sue will be playing Emilia in Desdemona, a play about a handkerchief at Bådteatret in April 2012 and Anna in Old Times by Harold Pinter – a collaboration by Why Not Theatre Company and That Theatre Company – at Krudttønden in autumn 2012

After finishing her training at the Academy of Live & Recorded Arts (London) in 2004, Lindsay began her acting career in UK touring theatres and fringe shows, with roles such as Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Mona in Days of Wine & Roses and Maid Marion in a musical version of Babes in the Wood.
In 2007 she took further training in Los Angeles at the Margie Haber Film School, and on returning to the UK had roles in several independent films and comedy sketch shows, including Sophie in the award winning A Tale of Two Sisters and The Lady in the award nominated The Cream Cake, which she co-wrote and produced.
She moved to Denmark in late 2009 and has appeared in DR's successful TV series Borgen and TV2's documentary series Sjæl og Videnskab. She has also walked the boards again as Irene in The Blue Room and Michelle Dubois in 'Allo, 'Allo!. Desdemona is her first venture with Why Not Theatre Company and she is very excited to be 'on board'!

Ian has lived in Copenhagen since 1990 and writes and performs his own material with Tom McEwan. He also produces new and classical English language plays such as Night in November, Waiting for Godot, Bouncers, No Man’s Land and The Caretaker.
He is proud to have been nominated for a Reumert award in 1998 with Tom McEwan and "The Boys in the Band" for their production of Jurassic Pork. Before Ian came to Denmark he worked in repertory theatres in Manchester, Harrogate, Sheffield, Coventry and Scotland. He was also in the original musical productions of Lennon and Blood Brothers in London's West End. His TV credits include Coronation Street, Angels, and Liebe Mutter, an award winning film for Channel 4 and ZDF.
In October 2012 will be performing in Old Times by Harold Pinter – a collaboration between Why Not Theatre Company and That Theatre Company.
Ian founded That Theatre Company in 1997 with Julian Simpson.
